Position: Armed Security Officer With Arrest Authority

  • Guard theater managers during cash pick up from the movie ticketing machines.

  • Rescued a missing little girl and reunited her with her mother.

  • Protect the theater employees and guests.

  • Check, review, and report security weaknesses in the theaters like broken doors, broken exit doors and other entry points.

  • Coordinate with Allied Universal unarmed security officers’ team and Fairfax Fire & Rescue team at the Tyson Corner mall during emergency situations such as when I found unconscious lady at the theater. We had to transport her to the hospital. 

  • Coordinate safety procedure for the theater guests with the Tyson Corner mall manager during an emergency power shut down at the closing time. 

  • Coordinate with the Securitas unarmed security officers’ team at the Fairfax Corner during emergency situations.

  • Stopped an attempted mugging and arrested the criminals.

  • Stop criminal activities in the theaters and around the theater premises such as fights, assault, and mugging. 

  • Be visible deterrent at the theater entrance and do the foot patrol around the perimeters at the assigned movie theater location.

  • Protect the theater from mass shooters, criminals and terrorists. 

  • Confront and warn rowdy theater customers, especially teenagers to behave or they will get kicked out of the theater. 

  • Prevent people especially teenagers from sneaking into the theaters. 

  • Worked with the movie theater managers to make sure that the theater is secured and empty before closing.

  • Check the back emergency door if a customer decides to use it to exist and silence the alarm once everything is cleared. 

  • Assist and alert the theater floor managers if threat and issue arise at the theater.

  • Develop, update and maintain the U.S. Courts CST sites using Drupal CMS and use GIT repository to track the changes among the developers.

  • Created 508 compliant Flash video streaming with video captioning.

  • Checked and analyze PDF and HTML documents to make sure they are 508 compliant by using Adobe Reader and JAWS screen reader.

  • Worked with subject expert matters in updating the information on the SB/SE section of the IRS.gov and making sure the information is accurate.

  • Redesigned the ARM website (www.adventistrisk.org) using Drupal CMS to make it more inviting and friendly and easy to use by non-technical visitors.

  • Created a project management plan for redesigning the Adventist Risk new web site.

  • Trained, mentored, supervised and assigned projects to intern and freelance contractors.

  • Worked with the ARM video producer and publish the Solutions Video on the web.

  • Worked with the Healthcare Department, Personal Risk Department, Claims, Field Services directors and their staff to keep the information in each department's section up-to-date. I provide technical support for all website issues.

  • Edited and produced videos by Final Cut Pro/Compressor on MAC OS X

  • Developed and setup an online payment site by using PHP, OS Commerce and Paypal.com shopping cart on Linux/Apache server.

  • Worked with the Corporate Communication Department's graphic designer and an event coordinator to publish the monthly Solutions newsletter (using Adobe InDesign) and work with a printing house to print the final version of the newsletter.

  • The former website averaged 4,000 unique visitors per month - after it was redesigned the website attracted 28,000 unique visitors per month and the usage hits went up to almost 2 million per month. I accomplished this by providing fresh content on the site daily.

  • Created a project plan for the redesigning the Voice of Prophecy Web Site.
